Trends

Trends are a fun thing to follow.  There are paper trends and fashion trends, the two combined together make a great combination.  Banners have been popular with paper artists for sometime.  This is my take on a banner, using black satin ribbon I created a ribbon banner.  An upcoming spring trend is the color coral.  Black and white mixed with any color creates an elegant card.  This trend is often seen in weddings.  If you are looking for a little inspiration look at ads whether it be paper arts, fashion or even  home decor they are sure to spark your creativity.

Cardstock - Bazzill
Papers - 7 Gypsies and Cosmo Cricket
Button - Bo Bunny
Flower - Bazzill
 Pearls - Kaisercraft
Ribbon- May Arts

Best Wishes

Once upon a time there was a sketch, which is the basis for my card.  Who doesn't love the color combo brown and pink.  It's like bread and butter.  I made this sweet card for a happy birthday! This was a quick card to make and a great way to use those paper scraps.

Just For You

I love these colors!  They could be used for a girly or masculine card.

This card design began with a die, as I was imagining something
out of the ordinary, and bazzill cardstock for the base.
The designer paper is Cosmo Cricket
The buttons, rhinestones and ribbon are from my stash.
I made the flower from lace ribbon.

Dream Big

I made this mini album for my oldest son, his birthday is Thursday.  It is full of inspiring life quotes.  He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury July 2009 and I want him to remember we never know where life takes us and we will encounter obstacles.  If you be the best you can be, always reach for the stars, and never forget to count your blessings you will do great things.  Life is about the journey so enjoy the ride!

Happy Valentine's

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love the holidays.  It's a time to decorate, celebrate and gather with family.  What better time to tell those you love just how much you love them.  A great way to do so is with a handmade card.  I made the card below for a special valentine.

Hugs and Kisses

2011

Hello there! I know it's been awhile but when life changing events happen you have to prioritize.  My oldest son suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in a motor vehicle accident July 2009.  It has been a road of recovery to a journey of life.  I am very blessed to have been given this second chance.

I live each day with hope and know everything is a miracle.
